YOM is a token on Solana. The project aims to give you the tools to launch your own metaverse on an open infrastructure , so anyone on any device can visit. The builder pay for hosting of the metaverse, and later on gamers can render to earn YOM tokens.

In March 2023 YOM was distributed in airdrop on MEXC. This way i found the token and wanted to know more about it. After the airdrop YOM was listed as YOM/USDT trading pair.
The YOM teammembers are on the website, with linkedin profiles to see their background. The week point here is the amount of chiefs compared to the people who do the real work, the developers. Only four devs for a big project with needs in many directions of code seems to be low.
Building metaverses as a use case sounds cool in my upinion. Building the tools so everyone can make a spot in a metaverse is even cooler. The price for the metaverse hosting might be too high , one user , one hour for 32 cents . When i make something i would love to see 1000's of users in my metaverse.... it is getting exspensive there. Everyone can do the math. Being successfull can cost you 1000's of dollars a day. Something goes wrong here.
There was a public offering of YOM tokens. Tokens were sold for 0,075$ . Previously there have been seeds funding (0,02$) and private investors(0,035$) sale. A total of 300 million were created, 90 million of them were sold for project funding. Some of the tokens are only free for trade after a lockup time. After 60 months all tokens are free to trade.
Initial supply when the markets open will be around 15 million tokens, at the offering price slightly above 1 million dollar value.
I am wondering what they want to reach telling people they go for a zere carbon emission economy. It is some hype and in many ways useless info , if not just a lie to comply.
YOM is loosing credibility here.
At the moment of the Airdrop of YOM on MEXC the estimate value of the tokens is 0,075$ , giving a total value of $ 22,5 million for the full project. When a project like this is successfull, this might be a bargain.
